Create a two part sterling silver vessel that can hold your mad money, essential oil, or a list of you secret desires. Skills covered include texturing, multiple soldering steps, forming, sawing, and tube cutting.

No tools necessary but please bring your magnification/personal light if needed

Stacking Rings

Learn to create the ever popular stacking rings. Students will make 3 rings each with a different technique to highlight each one.  A tube setting, a small bezel set stone and a water casting ‘drop’.

All tools included, but please bring magnification and personal lighting if needed

Dew Drop Pendant

Experience a quick and easy way to create water drop castings using Argentium silver, then join them onto a base plate that is balanced with sterling silver rectangle wire. Last add a cultural pearl to complete the look  Skills covered:  water casting wire, soldering, adding pearls or small tube setting.

Overlay Cuff

Design, form and fuse an argentum silver overlay for a copper cuff.  Highlight your design with sterling silver tube set CZ’s.  Skills:  fusing, forming, texturing, soldering, setting stones, riveting, designing.

Captured Cab

Class Fee: $85
Kit Fee: $45, pay teacher at class

Learn how to use cold connections to highlight your favorite stones. Rivets and compression cold connection can hold the cab, no soldering needed.  Perfect for those students that don’t use a torch. Then make a quick and easy copper chain to complete the look.

Teacher will have stones that are included in your kit, or feel free to bring your own.

Debora Mauser is a self-taught jewelry artist working in mixed metals, stones and enamel. She  is a nationally known instructor teaching at large venues, schools and bead stores. You can find her work in magazines like Step by Step Wire; Craft, Paper, Scissors; Enameling by F&W publishing, as well as online video and classes with Craftsy and Craftcast. She is a certified Wubbers Instructor, certified Painting with Fire Instructor and a former member of Nunn Design Team.

Having moved to North Carolina mountains 5 years ago, Debora is often inspired by the high county and all the nature within. Her work is an evolving mix of texture, techniques and explosions of color.
