This necklace features 2 hole lentils built to lay flat in a design typical of my layered beadwork as seen in Lush and Layered Bead Weaving. The modified Hana Ami motif technique uses a bit of beading magic to do that, as you will see! The three hour class will focus on the focal design. Discussion on choices for joining the focal components and adding a neck cord will be included. Other color combinations will be available. It was fun to create and I hope it is fun to make as I like students to Bead Happy!
Student needs to bring: Needles size 11, Fire line or similar thread size 6 pound, scissors, lighting, and bead mat of choice. Must be able to work with tiny beads.

This organic style bracelet is a great project for all levels featuring stunning imperial jasper beads with Czech melon beads for variety and interest. The design works from end to end in multiple passes along the length. Flexible design which can be adapted to other beads to create many more pieces. Other color combinations will be available. Most should finish in class.
Student needs to bring: Needles size 10, Fireline 8 pound, scissors, light, bead mat of choice. Any beading experience to be a little familiar with holding tension on your work.

POP Art Fun

Come play with me in a fun class that is mixed media with bead embroidery. We will use Pamela Garbig POP Art focal pieces to create a fun piece. Generally designed as a necklace but hey, it is YOUR art, so who knows.
Student needs to bring: E-6000 glue, size 10 or 11 needles, scissors, bead mat, lighting if required, and a fun spirit.

This variation of a traditional flat spiral works up to a spectacular bracelet. Great for beginners and fun for all. One of my all time favorite designs and ‘go to’ stitches to teach people to do bead weaving. The pattern is for 1 or 2 rows and easily adapted to 3 rows. Other color combinations will be available.
Student needs to bring: Needles size 10 or 11, Fireline 8 pound or equal, scissors, lighting, magnification, and choice of bead mat or board.
