Learn to play with components!

You can quickly set rivolis in two hole beads, then play with them to create a bauble ornament fit for a royal princess. We will also discuss how to use the set rivolis to make a bracelet or combine them to make a fringe-worthy necklace.

Special Instructions for Students (what they need to bring) Students should bring beading needles, 6lb Fireline, scissors, a beading mat, reading glasses and a personal task lamp.

Prerequisites: RAW variation & herringbone.

Nouveau Vines Bead Embroidered Cuff Bracelet presented by STARMAN BEADS

Set a handcarved wooden burl cabochon in beadwork and embellish with 3D elements and some crystal bling. This piece can be customized into a pendant, brooch or bracelet with either a hard or soft base. Bead embroidery, herringbone & peyote stitch.

Special Instructions for Students (what they need to bring) Students need to be comfortable with herringbone stitch.

Students should bring beading needles, their favorite beading thread (I prefer Fireline), scissors, a beading mat, reading glasses and a personal task lamp.

Hannah Rosner has a Master’s Degree in scenic and costume design but her true love is beading and beadmaking.

She specializes in handmade jewelry, purses, glasswork and lampwork beads. She teaches beadweaving and lampworking techniques nationally to bead stores and bead societies, has been lampworking since 1992 and beadweaving since 1986.

Hannah taught design for 5 years at the Art Institutes International – both at their Pittsburgh and Chicago campuses. She has been a Starman Trendsetter for 6 years. She was a semifinalist in the lampwork category for Bead & Button Bead Dreams 2009 with her boro glass flowers and for her beaded purse in Bead Dreams 2015. She won second place for her bead embroidered collarpiece in the Treasures of Toho 2009 Contest and has taken part in 5 Toho Challenges. She won first place in the Advanced Sculptural Category at the treasures of Toho 2012 Contest. She has been published in BeadMe! magazine, Beadwork Magazine and in Bead & Button Magazine.
